Job Description: 

Skilled worker with a thorough knowledge of procedures and processes associated with supply,

storage, and distribution functions in a fast paced environment. The candidate will be responsible for planning, control and organization of their department. The department manager will manage a team.

Reports to Terminal Manager and or President
Requirements:

Wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and follow all Safety Procedures as outlined in the
Safety Manual and OSHA regulations.
Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
Higher degree in logistics or similar through experience in area assigned (min 10 years).
Mathematical skills: ability to perform all basic calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
Have a high standard for quality.
Work environment: in- and outdoor (extreme weather conditions).
Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment
Perform various tasks in assistance or support of the KTN-organization including but not limited
to General labor.
Work other than normal scheduled hours, which may include evenings, weekends and/or
holidays. According to the needs of the business.
Adhere to all work and safety rules.
Insuring all OSHA safety standards are followed and executed.
Experience in managing a team and able to plan and organize the team effectively.
Thorough knowledge of all procedures, instruction, documents of the Quality Manual relevant for
the function.
Able to solve practical problems, interpret instructions, deal with a variety of variables.
Complete administration paperwork relevant to your area (payroll, KPIs, Planning, ETC)
Control of man hours and overtime.
Complete and monitor KPI’s for assigned department.
Complete and report required department reports on time as required by upper management.
Analyze the performance, propose and implement improvements.
Determine the training needs of your team. Coordinate and assist in the implantation.
Able to motivate and encourage your team to make suggestion ideas and improvements.
Perform audits to check the quality and safety of your team.
Participate in company meetings (Management Review, Planning, CSR and ETC.)

Must possess the skills to provide quality customer service including the ability to deal with a
variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.
Ability to perform assigned work tasks with little or no supervision.
Responsibilities Thorough knowledge of all procedures, instructions, documents of the Quality
Manual relevant for the department the candidate is employed under.
