This position located on the staff of the Commander, Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC), located in Virginia Beach, VA.

DUTIES:



- Performs budget formulation working involving the preparation of detailed analyses of annual and/or multi-year budget estimates into consolidated budget requests. This tasking may include both the financial and CIVPERS budget estimates combined.



- Prepares a variety of reports covering the status of funds, expenses, and obligations as required by higher headquarters.



- Performs budget execution tasks to meet the needs of NECC subordinate commands at the lowest operation level.







QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.  Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

·         Experience formulating annual and/or multi-year budgets.

·         Experience conducting trends and analysis of budget information such as cost, benefits, and trade-offs in obligation and expenditures of budget dollars.

·         Experience using Command Financial Management System (CFMS) and the Standard Accounting and Reporting System-Field Level (STARS/FL) systems to accomplish budget, execution and reporting requirements.

·         Experience serving as liaison between program managers and their representatives, the budget division, and other staff offices connected with the budget process.
