Job Description/Title: Bilingual Insurance Agent
Job Details:

Provide professional sales presentations via inbound and outbound phone calls to prospects seeking supplemental Life and Health insurance products from a Fortune 500 company.  This is accomplished by gathering pertinent information regarding insurance needs, accurately and concisely selling product features and benefits, thoroughly answering questions, setting proper expectations regarding the products and enrollment process, effectively responding to objections, and properly enrolling in the system.  Inbound calls are received from the national customer service center and various marketing campaigns and outbound calls are made to prospects who have submitted a quote request via various websites.

 

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

§  Receive inbound phone calls from prospects and use assumptive sales techniques to enroll them in one or more insurance products.

§  Make outbound phone calls to prospects and use assumptive, effective sales techniques to enroll them in one or more insurance products.

§  Manage prospect follow-up calls to ensure timely responses.

§  Utilize effective salesmanship and excellent customer service skills on all inbound and outbound calls.

§  Gather all required data necessary to sell insurance products to prospects.

§  Explain the sales process and insurance products.

§  Accurately process application/ information in the sales systems.

§  Accurately track and record outcome of leads

§  Escalate issues to program manager as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

§  Fluent in written and spoken English (and Spanish where applicable)

§  Life and Health Insurance License

§  2+ years of telephone sales experience

§  High school diploma

§  High level of accuracy when completing tasks

§  Proficient PC skills

§  Typing skills of 30+ WPM

§  Track record for achieving sales results

§  Strong communication skills

§  Action oriented, takes initiative and seizes opportunities when they arise.

§  Ability to use critical thinking skills to overcome customer objections

§  Proven time management skills

§  Strong interpersonal skills
